Join Kevin Allison of Marion County SWCD in a small group tour of the 25′ x 75′ SWCD soil health and vegetable demonstration garden at Eagle Creek Community Gardens (Mayor’s Garden). Our time in the garden will focus on:
- Assessing and improving soil health
- Vegetable production in a soil health system
- Spring cover crop management
- Mulching techniques
- Bed prep and walkway management
- Native plantings for beneficial insects and pollinators
Tour options include:
