While the Marion County SWCD will not be hosting a tree sale this fall 2021 you can still purchase trees and shrubs which will provide funding for conservation work by purchasing from SWCDs in our surrounding counties. Fall is the best time to plant trees and shrubs as they will adjust to their new “home” while there is plenty of moisture in the ground during the fall, winter and spring months. We highly encourage considering native plants as they are well suited to our climate and other conditions and are the best providers for wildlife.
