Cover Crop Seed

For small sample quantities, visit the Indianapolis Public Library seed libraries!

Inquire with your local farm and garden stores, feed mills, and co-ops about cover crop availability. Some primarily deal in larger quantities, such as 50 pound bags.

High Tunnels

When researching high tunnels, compare the material components of the high tunnel systems such as the gauge of steel, distance between hoops, if the hoops are reinforced with trusses, purlins, etc. If wind or snow load is an issue/concern, speak with the manufacturers about available wind/snow packages. Please refer to the Indiana High Tunnel Handbook for information on selecting a high tunnel for your operation, site selection, construction considerations, etc.

Low Tunnels

Soil Testing

Tarps and Occultation

For local sources, inquire with farm and garden stores, feed mills, and co-ops.
