IUFC’s 25th Annual Urban Forestry Conference

The Indiana Urban Forest Council is celebrating 25 years!  The Annual Urban Forestry Conference will be held on October 13th & 14th.  On Tuesday there will be a morning service project and in the afternoon a field trip to Woody Warehouse.  In the evening, from 5 - 8:30 there will be an Indy Brewery tour.  A full day conference will be held on Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Butler University, 4600 Sunset Ave. in Indianapolis. December 1st – Deadline for Organic Producers

December 1st is the deadline for Organic producers to apply for state cost share funds. For fiscal year 2015, individual organic producers (crops, wild crops, and/or livestock) and/or handlers are eligible for reimbursement of 75 percent of their 2015 (October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015) certification costs up to a maximum of $750 per category of certification. Operations with suspended or revoked certifications are ineligible for reimbursement.
